Four years after the death of her husband, Kaitlyn returns to Hollowford with her son Adam. She is unsure whether to sell the family home and move to London for a career, or stay in Hollowford, where her son thrives. For the Yule Fest, she collaborates with Matthew, a family friend and representative of the potential buyer of her house. Gradually, Kaitlyn and Matthew discover that their friendship means more. Kaitlyn must make a choice: a new start or staying for love.
