Single mom Jenny faces hardships taking care of her kids and dealing with reduced work hours. She rents out her guesthouse to Jeff, a firefighter needing a place to recover. Her kids immediately bond with him and as Jeff helps them with school and sports, he becomes a vital part of their lives. Jenny and Jeff grow closer, but her past loss makes her hesitant. When Jeff's recovery ends, the family misses him, especially Jenny. Can she embrace a new love?
