Mary is the owner of a bookstore with financial problems. She comes in contact with Adam, a professional hockey player, who has gotten a bad image through the years. Depsite their dislike for each other and being completely different, they decide to work together. They need to work on each others image and improve it. Adam need to become more popular again and Mary has to promote her book store. While they are working on that, they start to realize they are getting feelings for each other.
