Shannon Hughes has her own contractor business and is a renovation expert, AKA, a fixer upper. Mac Sullivan, a crime reporter, has bought a new manor and hires Shannon to renovate it. But when they find a dead body in the house, the police het involved and they rule it out as an accident. But Shannon doesn't trust it. She and Mac start their own investigation. They keep bumping into each other and get involved in a lot of mysteries they try to solve together.
