The producers want to boost the ratings by bringing back Darin Mitchell, the former fan favorite. The only complication? Maggie and Darin share a history as exes, making it challenging to write him back into the show. As Maggie struggles with the task of winning Darin back, Darin grapples with insecurities due to a failed theater production. But when the attraction of their shared past rekindles, and they are forced to work together on anniversary projects, they discover that their mutual support can give their careers and their relationship a new direction. Yet, a shadow of doubt remains, as Darin is often absent and receives mysterious phone calls. Can they fully trust each other again?
