Eva Jordan, who runs a wish-fulfillment business, helps her friend's son, Lucas Blade, a crime author struggling with grief and writer's block, find joy during Christmas. Tasked with decorating his 5th Avenue penthouse, Eva unexpectedly meets Lucas at home. Initially reluctant and preferring solitude, Lucas slowly opens up to Eva.
